Elbert O. George Violin, Richmond VA (No. 200)
With a hand-written label reading "Elbert O. George, Richmond VA, No. 73-4" - this violin appears to have some history. Unfortunately we can't find much information about it. We have revived this instrument with a complete setup, including a hand-carved Despiau 3-tree bridge, and Thomastik Dominant strings. The sound is sweet and mellow yet still responsive and quite easy to play. An interesting find!
